Offensive Tackle

Another position that is lacking in terms of depth is offensive tackle. The team currently only has four players to cover two starting tackle positions. On the left side is Dion Dawkins, while Ty Nsekhe and Cody Ford on the right. However, there are questions about whether or not Cody Ford slides inside to guard this coming season. The last tackle is Ryan Bates but it remains to be seen if the coaching staff would be confident starting him for a long period of time.

Entering 2020 with only these four on the roster would be a risky move, considering Nsekhe’s injury history.

This is one position that the Bills could go back to what they tried last year by signing LaAdrian Waddle. The veteran tackle signed a one year deal but ended up on injured reserve. He has the ability to play both left and right tackle and would be the perfect answer for the team’s depth.
