Team Need

Entering this offseason the Buffalo Bills had some decisions to make at the cornerback position. The goal was to find an answer opposite Tre’Davious White, whether that was re-signing Levi Wallace and Kevin Johnson or adding a free agent.

Regardless of what direction they went, they would also need to find depth at a position that was taxed towards the end of the season.

The cornerback position was one of those sneaky needs that the Buffalo Bills had. The reason it didn’t get as much attention was because of how strong the Bills have been against the pass, including this past season allowing the third fewest passing yards in the NFL.

This is also a position that could have lulled the Buffalo Bills into a false sense of security with the emergence of Tre’Davious White, who had a breakout year last season.

While the signing of Josh Norman isn’t the only answer to the position this offseason, it was a good first step.
