Harrison Phillips

If there is one player on this list who is likely to have the biggest impact in 2020 it has to be defensive tackle Harrison Phillips. He was a third round pick by the Buffalo Bills in 2018 and after Kyle Williams retirement, Phillips was expected to replace him on this defense this past year.

He got off to a strong start but saw his season come to an abrupt end when he tore his ACL against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The player who replaced him in the rotation, Jordan Phillips, went on to have an excellent season with 9.5 sacks. However, Phillips is a free agent this offseason and it doesn’t appear he will be returning to the team.

This creates an opportunity for Harrison Phillips to regain his place in the defensive tackle rotation and within this defense. At only 24 years of age, Phillips has plenty of good football in front of him and should play a big part for the Buffalo Bills in 2020.
