Stephen Hauschka

The last player on this list would be kicker Stephen Hauschka, who has been with the Buffalo Bills since 2017. The team signed Hauschka as a free agent and was as clutch and steady as they come for a kicker.

However, the performance began to slip at the end of the 2018 season and that carried over into this past year. After eight straight seasons with a field goal percentage over 85%, he has now had two straight years at 78.6%. The stat that is the most concerning is field goals over 50 yards, which was something Hauschka excelled at. This past season he made only 1 out of his five attempts from that distance.

Hauschka is under contract through the 2021 season but the Bills could release him this offseason and save about $1.8 million, according to Spotrac. However, the combination of the fact that he will be 35 to start the year, plus the slip in performance, may be enough for the Bills to decide now is the time to make a switch.
