Laviska Shenault Jr.
Laviska Shenault Jr. is an interesting wide receiver because for creative offensive coordinators, he will be more than just a wide receiver. He is a player that teams just want to get the ball in his hands as quickly as possible and that will come in the passing game, as well as on jet sweeps or lined up in the backfield.
This past season with Colorado, Shenault Jr. saw his numbers drop a bit but that could be attributed to a player on a poor offense. This is why the NFL Combine could be more valuable to him than some of the other wide receivers on this list.
As for the Buffalo Bills, while Shenault Jr. has some versatility, their focus will once again be on the size he can bring to the wide receiver position. He is 6’2″ and 220 pounds and is a physical player that is not easy to bring down.
This tweet by Hayden Winks at Rotoworld is a great example of his style of play as on two consecutive plays he caught a pass in the backfield, carrying defenders, and then on the next play lined up in the Wildcat to pick up the last yard for a first down.
He is one name that Bills’ fans will likely hear more and more as the NFL Draft gets closer.
