Kelly Bryant

Kelly Bryant had an interesting college career, one that started with the Clemson Tigers. He spent two seasons behind then starter Deshaun Watson before taking over in the 2017 season. That season, Bryant threw for over 2,800 passing yards, rushed for 665 yards and had a total of 24 touchdowns.

However, that would end up being his only full season as the start for Clemson as he lost the job in 2018 to Trevor Lawrence. He eventually transferred to the University of Missouri and was the starting quarterback this past year.

He once again had a solid, but not flashy, season with 2,215 passing yards, 242 rushing yards and 16 total touchdowns.

The reason the Buffalo Bills could be interested in a player like Bryant is that he has very similar physical tools that Josh Allen has. If he is able to refine some of the mental aspects of the position through coaching, he could become a player that can step in if the need arises and the offense would not have to change much.
