Laviska Shenault Jr.

Laviska Shenault Jr. is a big body wide receiver who has been known to take the snap directly in the wild cat. Shenault didn’t crack 1,000 receiving yards in 2019 but still put up a highlight reel. His stat line for 2019 ended with 764 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns but that doesn’t equate to his physical abilities.

Shenault is 6’2″, 220 pound monster on the outside, he has strong hands that allows him to get physical at the point of attack. Shenault’s downside is he plays so physically that it tends to lead to him getting hurt, playing the majority of 2019 banged up. Shenault was used in many short yardage situations which might come in handy in the system Brian Daboll runs. Shenault ran for 161 yards on 23 attempts showcasing the second gear he tends to go to when he becomes a runner.

Shenault is a jack of all trades type of player who can bolster an offense quickly. He can be used in the running game as well as contribute early in the passing game. Shenault is a player that the Buffalo Bills fans would come to love, a hard nose receiver who’s athleticism is off the charts. Shenault, like Tee Higgins, is a bigger receiver that would help Josh Allen, but also compliment John Brown.
