DeAndre Washington

The one player on this list that seems to fit for what the Buffalo Bills would be looking for it is former Oakland Raiders’ running back DeAndre Washington. The 27-year old back has primarily been a backup in his four seasons in the NFL and for his career has 1,122 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns.

However, he also has proven to be a threat in the passing game with 88 career receptions, 613 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown. This past season when given the chance to be the starter in place of the injured Josh Jacobs, he averaged 81 rushing yards, five receptions, and 38 receiving yards.

DeAndre Washington has proven over time that he can be effective in a back up role with only a few touches in a game. However, he can impact the game in multiple ways and more importantly if the need arises, can step into a featured back role and be successful. The addition of Washington to this offense makes a great deal of sense for the Buffalo Bills.
