Yannick Ngakoue

There is no question that the top free agent defensive end is Yannick Ngakoue. The former Jacksonville Jaguar has been productive with over eight sacks in each of his four years in the league, a career high of 12 sacks in 2017 and is still only 24 years of age.

The combination of production and age usually equals in a monster contract that could reset the market for the position. According to Spotrac, Ngakoue has estimated market value of over $17 million a year.

If the Buffalo Bills were to sign Ngakoue, he would easily become the highest paid player on the roster but could be a perfect addition. He would have the opportunity to grow with the young group of players like Ed Oliver, Tremaine Edmunds, Matt Milano and Tre’Davious White this defense already has.
