Tyler Kroft

2020 Cap Hit: $6,412,500

Dead Cap: $1,600,000

Cap Savings: $4,812,500

Last offseason, the Buffalo Bills signed Tyler Kroft as a free agent and the expectation was he would be their starting tight end entering the 2019 season. However, Kroft suffered a foot injury during OTAs that kept him out of training camp and part of the season.

During that time, the Bills were able to get an extended look at their two rookie tight ends, Dawson Knox and Tommy Sweeney, and showed they are more than capable to carry the position going forward. Kroft finished the year with six receptions for 71 yards and one touchdown.

Entering 2020, Kroft will have the 15th highest average salary for tight ends in the NFL. This is a large salary for a tight end who realistically could enter the 2020 season as the Bills third tight end on the depth chart.

He is one player that seems to be firmly on the roster bubble this offseason.
