A.J. Green

If the Bills don’t want to spend on an Amari Cooper and is looking for a stop gap at the position, a player like A.J. Green would be perfect. However, Green comes with a sizable amount of risk.

At one time in his career, Green was considered one of the best wide receivers in the game. He started his career with the Cincinnati Bengals with five straight seasons over 1,000 receiving yards and had double digit touchdowns in three of those years.

However, the last four years have not been so kind as Green has dealt with a number of injuries and only had one season where he played in all 16 games. He also missed the entire 2019 season due to injury so its hard to gauge just how healthy he is and what he can do on a football field.

If the Buffalo Bills are willing to offer a shorter term deal, that is heavily incentive based, the addition of Green would be a nice fit for this offense.
