Buffalo Bills: Players on the roster ready to breakout in 2020
Tremaine Edmunds
If there is one player that can have a breakout season like Tre’Davious White, one that shoots that player from good to being considered one of the best at his position, it would have to be Tremaine Edmunds.
The Buffalo Bills drafted Edmunds in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft and immediately was inserted to the starting lineup at middle linebacker. He has only responded with two seasons with over 100 total tackles and this past season played every defensive snap for the Bills.
He has accomplished all this before he has even turned 22 years of age.
Now entering his third year in the league, and more importantly the third year in the same defensive scheme, gives him an opportunity to really burst onto the scene and put his name in the discussion for best middle linebacker in the game.
Edmunds has an incredible combination of size and athleticism that allows him to basically get to any point on the field. He can close quickly on the outside on running backs and drop back against tight ends on passing plays. If he is able to increase those big play stats, like sacks and interceptions, it will be hard to deny his place in this league.
