Buffalo Bills: Players on the roster ready to breakout in 2020
Ed Oliver
Another potential breakout star, is fellow NFL Draft classmate, Ed Oliver. The former first round pick had a similar slow start like Singletary, but finished really strong and had five sacks for his first season in the NFL.
The slow start for Oliver seemed to be more about him trying to learn his role within the defense and how he can make an impact in the NFL. It felt like the jump from college to the NFL was a little bigger and he had a much bigger learning curve.
That seemed to go away over the second half of the year and he became the disruptive force that the Buffalo Bills envisioned when they drafted him in the Top 10.
It would not be hard to imagine a world that Oliver saw his snaps increase significantly and hit the ground running in his second season. If he does that, he should easily eclipse all his stats from his rookie season.
