Buffalo Bills: Players on the roster ready to breakout in 2020
Harrison Phillips
The Buffalo Bills entered the 2019 season knowing that they would need to find a replacement for Kyle Williams, who retired after the 2018 season. The expectation was that it would Harrison Phillips who will fill the hole left by Williams.
However, Phillips suffered a torn ACL in Week 3 and was replaced by Jordan Phillips, who went on to have a career year with 9.5 sacks.
The Buffalo Bills front office must now address whether or not to re-sign Jordan Phillips but if the asking price is too much, then the team will likely turn back to Harrison Phillips.
The third-year player out of Stanford showed flashes during his rookie year but had minimal playing time. If he enters 2020 as one of the primary tackles for this defense, he should have a breakout season and solidify his place in this lineup.
