Dawson Knox

One player seemingly heading for a breakout season is tight end Dawson Knox. The Bills selected the Ole Miss tight end in the third round this past year and unfortunately due to injuries, he got off to a slow start.

The scouting report on Knox was that he has all the physical tools but was very raw due to the offense he was in. He didn’t have the experience and would need time to develop. He then suffered a hamstring injury that cost him almost the entire training camp and was forced to learn on the job during the regular season.

This isn’t a recipe for success but he did finish the year with 28 receptions, 388 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Entering Year 2 with a year of experience, and if he is able to get in a full offseason with Josh Allen, should set Knox up to become a key contributor within this offense.
