Tyler Johnson

Tyler Johnson is another receiver who has the height that the Buffalo Bills could be looking for this offseason. He is coming off an excellent season with the University of Minnesota when he caught 86 passes for 1,318 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.

However, while he is 6’2″, he doesn’t really use that size well as a physical receiver as noted by Jacob Infante in his scouting report. Certainly this would be a concern for the Bills and they would want to see some of that physicality this week.

The good news for Johnson, as Infante notes, is that he is as a polished of a route runner there is in college. He would likely be able to step in right away on the outside opposite John Brown with Cole Beasley in the slot.

Based on what the Buffalo Bills might want from this position, Victor seems to fit the mold more. However, it is hard to look past Johnson’s production and could be a nice addition for this offense.
