Buffalo Bills: New Year’s Day mock draft brings new playmakers
By Randy Gurzi
The Buffalo Bills are preparing for their Wild Card game against the Houston Texans but we spend this New Year’s Day looking at the draft with this 7-round mock
Right now, the Buffalo Bills are all in on their upcoming game. Following a 10-win regular season, they find themselves set for a Wild Card game against the Houston Texans.
Buffalo will be on the road as Houston won their division, but a team that wins with defense the way they do usually travels well.
That was proven as they were just 4-4 at home (although their final game was at home and most the starters sat as they had their seed locked up). As for their road record, the Bills were 6-2 away from New Era Field.
Of course, there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes while the coaches and players plan for this huge game. One development is the recent request from the Cleveland Browns who have asked to interview Brian Daboll for their head coaching vacancy.
A former offensive coordinator with the Browns, Daboll has the same title now in Buffalo and has garnered praise for his work with Josh Allen.
There’s also the coming offseason. While the players hope to kick that can down the road with a playoff run, there are plenty of scouts and members of the front office who have eyes on the incoming class of players from the NCAA.
Today, that will be our focus as we bring you a New Year’s Day 7-round 2020 NFL Mock Draft. The Bills use this draft to add more playmakers as their resolution this season will be to take yet another step forward.
