The Daily Roundup brings you all the Buffalo Bills news you need to know, including Sean McDermot winning a Coach of the Year poll on NFL.com

Sean McDermott has the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs and they already have 10 wins with two games to play. In short, he’s been fantastic this season.

So good, in fact, he was named Coach of the Year in an NFL.com vote which was comprised of votes from 24 front office members in the league.

While this isn’t the main Coach of the Year Award, it is quite an honor. It also shows the respect that he has around the league as several guys who call the shots in the NFL agree he is the best at his job this season.

NFL.com survey names Bills’ Sean McDermott Coach of the Year — Nick Wojton, Bills Wire

"“The actual award is chosen by media members across the country later this year. But a survey of 24 anonymous front office executives voted on the end of season awards well ahead of the actual vote via the league’s website.”"

This could be a foreshadowing of the actual award. McDermott is winning with great defense and has slowed down some of the best in the game. This season has been a great example of how prepared he was for this job when hired before the 2017 season.

Bills’ Ed Oliver ‘hurting’ over Jordan Phillips’ Pro Bowl snub — Matt Parrino, Syracuse.com

"“If you didn’t vote for Jordan Phillips, you’re not my friend. I’m sorry,” Oliver said. “Let’s see, he has 9 1/2 sacks. Who else has more than that? Aaron Donald, maybe (and) he’s one of the best in the game.”"

Ed Oliver has a point. Jordan Phillips, who wasn’t as upset as Oliver, has the most sacks in the AFC this season and is doing it from an interior position. That’s a great season and he should have been named to the Pro Bowl.

Bills QB Josh Allen’s selfie with fans finds home at Buffalo art museum — Marcel Louis-Jacques, ESPN

"“The Albright-Knox Art Gallery is closed while it undergoes an expansion, but it has made an addition to its exhibits: a screenshot of a selfie Bills quarterback Josh Allen took with the fans waiting for the team early Monday morning at Buffalo-Niagara International Airport.”"

This was a cool moment as Josh Allen was thoroughly impressed by the fans support at 2 a.m. in the freezing cold. He stopped and spent some time with the fans and even posted on Twitter hos special it was. Now it will be remembered in Bills hostory.
