The Buffalo Bills face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football. Members of BuffaLowDown look ahead to the Week 15 game and give their score predictions
This game could be huge for the Buffalo Bills. Not only will they be on primetime as they visit the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football, but they’ll also have quite a bit on the line as well.
Buffalo could potentially seal their spot in the postseason by winning in this game — and then getting some help. Or, they could lose their stranglehold on the fifth spot in the AFC.
Entering this Week 15 showdown, the Bills are 9-4 and currently hold the top Wild Card spot in the conference. Right behind them is Pittsburgh, who owns a record of 8-5 — which is impressive considering some of the problems they’ve had with injuries.
Speaking of those injuries, the Steelers are down starters at several key positions with the most impactful being quarterback as Ben Roethlisberger had to have surgery and won’t be back this season. His backup, Mason Rudolph, has since been benched as well with undrafted rookie Devlin Hodges taking the reins.
Even with his inexperience, the Bills cannot go into this game thinking it will be easy. Hodges hasn’t made the highlight plays but he’s calm, confident, and efficient. He’s also 3-0 as the starter.
A lot of the success has to do with the fact that Pittsburgh’s defense has been impressive this season. The same could be said for Buffalo’s defense, which held their own against potential NFL MVP Lamar Jackson in Week 14.
With all this being said, we now look ahead to the game as members of the BLD crew give their predictions on how this potential defensive battle will go down.
