Stud: Cole Beasley

The Bills two free-agent additions at wide receiver have had quite the impact this season. Both John Brown and Cole Beasley have been well worth the investment. And they each had a shot at playing against their 2018 employer in the past two weeks.

Beasley absolutely torched his original team as he had 110 yards and six receptions against Dallas on Thanksgiving. He also scored a touchdown which gave him five on the season — matching his career-high.

This week, Brown got a chance to play his 2018 employer as he was a member of the Ravens last season. Unfortunately, he didn’t do much as he had just three receptions on eight targets for 26 yards. Although not all of the slow game was on him as he did get past his defender on the first drive but Josh Allen overthrew what could have been a long touchdown.

As for Beasley, he was once again efficient and had a great game. Not only did he make three clutch receptions on third down, but he also scored the lone touchdown of the game as he capped off a seven-play 78-yard drive with a three-yard touchdown.

That made it a 24-15 game, but then Beasley again stepped up and hauled in a two-point conversion to pull the team within seven. It was another strong game for the slot receiver who is having arguably the best season of his career.
