The Buffalo Bills are having a remarkable season. Here we look ahead with a 7-round mock draft which adds even more talent around their impressive young quarterback

Buffalo Bills fans have a lot to be thankful for this season. After a huge Week 13 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day, the Bills are an impressive 9-3. They control their own playoff destiny and still have a shot at catching the New England Patriots in the AFC East.

The biggest reason for their success this season has been the play of the defense. Head coach Sean McDermott has done a tremendous job building this unit that ranks third overall in points surrendered with 15.7 — per NFL.com.

They’re also third in yardage given up as well as third in pass defense. The one area where they don’t crack the top-10 is in rush defense, but they still are a respectable 13th in that area giving up just 104.2 yards per game.

As for their offense, there’s some work to be done for sure. They’re not a high-powered scoring team but they’re no pushovers either. We saw that on Thanksgiving as second-year quarterback Josh Allen had one of the best games of his young career.

Allen was 19-of-24 passing for 231 yards and a touchdown. He added another 43 yards and a score on the ground, but most importantly, he had no turnovers — although there nearly was one on a fourth-down play, but he recovered a snapped fumble and lunged forward for a crucial first down.

With all that being said, the Bills are in position to be successful for years to come. Here, we look ahead to the 2020 NFL Draft and continue to build this roster up with a seven-round mock draft, beginning with a selection of a new weapon for Allen.
