Ranking the Buffalo Bills among the undefeated teams in the NFL

It is worth noting that three divisions (AFC East, NFC North and NFC West) each have two undefeated teams and in the West the 49ers are one of those two teams.

The 49ers started the season similar to the Bills with two road wins, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Cincinnati Bengals, before beating the Pittsburgh Steelers at home. Another similarity to the Bills, is the fact the 49ers also won their game against the Steelers even though they had four turnovers in the first half.

The 49ers look like a team on the rise and have been relying on their defense. This group currently ranks second in the NFL in yards allowed per game.

The question for this team is if Jimmy Garoppolo can take that next step as a quarterback. He has struggled protecting the ball early this season and has thrown four interceptions to go along with two fumbles.

The 49ers are one of two teams on a bye week in Week 4 and will have to wait until Week 5 to see if they can move to 4-0.
