8. team. 50. . 2-0-1. . Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions kick off these power rankings ranked 8th among the teams that are undefeated. The Lions are the only team with two wins thanks to their Week 1 tie with the Arizona Cardinals. They then went on to beat the LA Chargers at home 13-10 and secured a road win over the Philadelphia Eagles 27-24.

The wins over the Chargers and Eagles are impressive as both were considered playoff contenders at the start of the season. However, both teams have been hit hard by injuries. The Chargers were missing Derwin James, Hunter Henry, in addition to the absence of Melvin Gordon, who was holding out. As for the Eagles, they were missing two starting wide receivers in Alshon Jeffrey and DeSean Jackson that were key injuries for that offense.

A win over the Kansas City Chiefs would be a huge statement game for this team and they would sky rocket up these rankings if that happens.
