Devin Singletary

One of the stars of the fourth quarter was running back Devin Singletary, who had 50 rushing yards thanks to three long runs over 10 yards. He finished the game just short of 100 total yards with 70 rushing yards and 28 receiving yards.

The rookie running back impressed the coaching staff before the season and his play gave them enough confidence in the rookie to release LeSean McCoy. He validated that trust in Week 1 against the Jets.

It is not a coincidence that when the offense was really clicking was when Singletary was heavily involved. This is something the coaching staff will need to build on and should try to get the rookie involved earlier in the game. He has the ability to impact the game both carrying the ball and through the passing game.
