Duke Williams making case for roster spot

The performance by Duke Williams the past two weeks is going to give the coaching staff a very tough decision at the end of the preseason. The former CFL star now has a touchdown in each of the last two games and should be in consideration for that final WR spot, alongside Isaiah McKenzie and Ray Ray McCloud.

Last week against the Panthers, Williams had three receptions for 38 yards to go along with that one touchdown reception. He followed it up with three receptions for 15 yards and one touchdown against the Lions.

One of the reasons that Williams could actually be considered the favorite over McKenzie and McCloud for that final spot is that he does bring something different to the position. At 6’3″ and 225 pounds, he is the biggest receiver the Bills have and is showing he can be a good red zone target for this offense.
