The Buffalo Bills had a quiet month of May and June will likely be more of the same. That is better than there being too much offseason drama.

Today marks the final day of May and with that comes my final day covering the Buffalo Bills here at BuffaLowDown.

It has been a fun ride.

This month was extremely slow in terms of Bills news, which is true of May in most years. The madness of the draft fades away at the end of April and May is all about the fallout and reaction from the picks.

The Bills made a no-brainer decision to draft Ed Oliver so there weren’t any hot takes to be had. The reaction was a general “good job” from much of the fanbase. I’m sure there were a few who hated the pick for some reason.

I personally can’t wait to see Oliver dominate opposing offensive lines this season. Even though I did not grow up a Bills fan, my time here will have me following the team for the rest of my life.

And with that, here is the latest Bills news and analysis in my final edition of The Morning Charge.

Buffalo Bills News:

An easy choice for the smartest move made in 2019 (BuffaLowDown, Steven Kubitza)

A slow offseason usually means good things are happening that are hard to argue against. Drafting Oliver fits that description.

Don’t rush the Dawson Knox expectations (BuffaLowDown, Stephen McCarthy)

Dawson Knox was also drafted by the Bills this offseason. He has a ton of potential, though it may take some time to see major results.

Bills rookie LB Tyrel Dodson arrested for domestic violence (The Buffalo News, Jay Skurski)

In more serious news, an undrafted rookie is in some legal trouble.

Is there an easy stretch to the Buffalo Bills’ 2019 schedule? (Buffalo Rumblings, Corey Giacovelli)

Back to football, the Bills have a great shot to start the season on a winning streak.

It is always fun playing the schedule game in May.
