The Buffalo Bills had a successful month of April building the team. Now the focus shifts to getting all the new players on the field in May.

The “it’s gonna be May” memes were out in full force yesterday and the month is finally here.

That means the Buffalo Bills, along with all the other NFL teams, will have some workouts taking place this month.

The Bills have a rookie minicamp beginning May 10 while the first OTA is scheduled for May 20. That means all the new players will be on the field soon enough, even if the workouts are a bit basic in nature.

The passing of the NFL Draft makes the season seem that much closer to beginning. May and June are those odd months where there are workouts taking place, but nothing with much substance like when training camp begins.

We have to take what we can get and it will be nice to at least see the team doing something this month. All the focus on the new players may cause some to forget that this should be a huge year for Josh Allen. If he can be a consistent quarterback this team will be capable of achieving anything.

Let’s now take a look at the latest Bills news on this first day of May 2019.

Some of the running backs on the roster will be fighting for spots once training camp begins. Yeldon could be one of those guys, but cutting him would come with a price.

A roster prediction to start May?

I like it. The first position mentioned gives readers a bit of a surprise.
