Buffalo Bills: Four three-round draft scenarios for the Bills
The Buffalo Bills have 10 picks in the 2019 NFL Draft that begins Thursday evening and can be a team that makes plenty of moves. With the history of Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott at the draft, a trade of some sort looks more likely than anything.
The Buffalo Bills did a fantastic job of filling needs and adding talent in free agency last month. Doing that allows Buffalo to be open to several possibilities on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for the 2019 NFL Draft.
The three possibilities are staying where the team is, trading down, and trading up. To the extreme in which they do the latter is what may scare fans off of doing them, but it could signify the Bills adding a piece or pieces that will put them over the top.
Through the next several slides, I’ve laid out a few scenarios for the Bills in the first three rounds that could happen on draft day, depending on what Buffalo decides to do. I fully expect Buffalo to make at least a move as they are armed with 10 draft picks in this draft and can easily use those picks as ammunition to move wherever the please.
We saw Buffalo do that last season with two firsts, two seconds, and two thirds – using their seconds and thirds to help them move up and get two franchise cornerstones.
I put my thoughts down earlier this week and how with their 10 picks I expect Buffalo to make a move and with several of these slides, I lay out what the team may be able to get by making a few moves. If you missed out on our final mock draft where we have plenty of moves as well, check out our Mock Draft 3.0 that we published Wednesday afternoon. In addition, Justin and I cover plenty of draft info in the latest edition of the BLD Podcast.
Without further adieu, lets sift through several of the draft weekend scenarios that Buffalo could see themselves going through.
