The Buffalo Bills have already fired three coaches from the staff this week. There may be more to come as the offseason continues on.
Many NFL head coaches had to deal with Black Monday earlier this week. Buffalo Bills fans did not have to worry about this.
Sean McDermott is safe and back for another year, but there are already set to be changes on his staff in 2019.
The firings began with offensive line coach Juan Castillo. Then came wide receiver coach Terry Robiskie. The third firing came Thursday when the Bills decided to move on from special teams coordinator Danny Crossman.
All three areas struggled mightily during the 2018 season, yet Crossman had been dealing with mixed results since he began back in 2013. He survived several head coach hirings and firings, but it appears the 2018 season was the final straw.
Change was expected and it is not surprising that these roles will see new leaders in 2019. McDermott and Brandon Beane have to protect their own jobs, and ownership will likely be expecting better results after a season focused on development.
We look at this news and more in a Friday edition of The Morning Charge. The short week is finally over!
Buffalo Bills News:
Bills reportedly move on from special teams coordinator (BuffaLowDown, Steven Kubitza)
The news was confirmed by several sources and it almost seemed like a confirmation of a move that was bound to happen at any moment.
Bills should at least make a phone call about Antonio Brown (BuffaLowDown, Steven Kubitza)
I am not advocating for the Bills to do whatever it takes to trade for Antonio Brown. I just want the Bills to consider all the pros and cons of such a deal.
Potential candidates to replace offensive line coach Juan Castillo (Buffalo Rumblings)
The Bills have several openings and it is time to start looking at replacements, both in and out of the facility.

Some more thoughts on the firing of Crossman.
It has been a bad week for Bills coaches, so we shall see if the firings continue today.
