The Buffalo Bills are playing for pride at this point in the 2018 season. Be sure to follow along with other Bills fans in our live game thread.
The Buffalo Bills are in that odd part of the season when the playoffs are no longer a possibility, but the same fire to win still exists.
That is all part of being a professional football player.
The Bills welcome the Detroit Lions, another team out of playoff contention, to town today. The inactive list points to the possibility of another big day on the ground for Josh Allen.
Both LeSean McCoy and Chris Ivory are out for this one, meaning Allen will likely run the ball just as much or even more than he has in previous weeks.
Aside from the backs, there are no surprise absences in this one.
We are now in the final three weeks of the season and even though it has been filled with more losses than wins, there is still a Bills football game being played today. And that means anything can happen.
Be sure to comment on this post throughout today’s game to interact with other Bills fans and share your thoughts in real-time as the game happens. The Lions are not a dominant team in any sense so perhaps Allen goes off for his best performance yet.
Or maybe the defense makes Matt Stafford look foolish and the Bills coast to any easy win. As I said, anything can happen, especially when a team that plays in a dome travels to Buffalo.
The Bills aren’t playing spoiler in this one, but could hurt Matt Patricia’s job security in his first year as Lions head coach.
