The Buffalo Bills went on the road to Minnesota and absolutely dominated the Vikings thanks to Josh Allen and several other standout performers.

What an unbelievable road win for the Buffalo Bills in Minnesota.

It’s fair to say that this result wasn’t predicted going in to the game, but my word it feels excellent right now. There were some excellent performers for the Bills but who stood out most?

Let’s get into it.

Josh Allen

This one is obvious but what a beauty of a first road game that was for Josh Allen. His first half performance was so good that he didn’t hardly have to throw a pass in the second half. Allen looked poised and in control at all times, but best of all, accurate.

If Kelvin Benjamin was at all decent or if Robert Foster had hands, we’d be looking at a ridiculous set of numbers for Allen. Either way, an extremely impressive first start on the road for the QB against an elite defense.

Matt Milano

Milano is one of my favorite plays on the Bills roster and he showed exactly why today. Along with Tremaine Edmunds he was all over the field making play after play. He ended up with an interception, a sack and a fumble recovery.

Those stats on their own are worthy of a great performance but it was more than that, his tackling was solid and he was great in coverage against some talented receivers.

If Milano continues to improve and Edmunds progresses as expected, the Bills may well have themselves a great pair of linebackers.

Chris Ivory

Being honest, it didn’t feel great when the news came out that Shady was inactive. However, there was no need to worry. Chris Ivory, not Marcus Murphy, replaced him in the lineup and it was clear to see why. Ivory runs HARD and with an O-Line lacking in talent, he’s exactly the sort of running back the Bills need.

His stat line wasn’t pretty, with 20 carries for 56 yards, but it’s worth remembering that a lot of those attempts came with the Bills running out the clock, with no threat of a pass. In the first half when the Bills offense was rolling, Ivory came up big with three receptions for 70 yards. Shady is a special talent but today’s game suited Ivory massively.

Next. Bills dismantle the Minnesota Vikings as Josh Allen shines. dark

There could have probably been another 20 players in this article, but that’s no fun. Feel free to let us know your thoughts on who impressed you most in the comments!
