The Buffalo Bills are squaring off against the Cleveland Browns tonight in a game that features two players who have switched sides this past year.

The Buffalo Bills are traveling to Cleveland tonight with Corey Coleman on the roster to take on a Browns team led by Tyrod Taylor.

This storyline surrounding the two players going up against their former teams may be bigger if this was a regular season game, but it is still notable.

Taylor may not get that much action tonight as he is still pegged to be the Browns’ Week 1 starter. That shifts the focus to the duel between Josh Allen and Baker Mayfield, which is why the game is on NFL Network in the first place.

This game shouldn’t mean that much to Taylor either. The way for him to prove that he should have never been traded is to dominate in the regular season and do the impossible by getting the Browns to the postseason. This game will just be a chance for him to say hi to some former friends.

It is a different situation for Coleman as he doesn’t have time to worry about any bad blood. He needs to focus on making the Bills roster.

The latest talk surrounding Coleman has to do with him asking for a trade on Hard Knocks. To be fair to him, I’m sure this happens often and he was unfortunate enough to do it on camera. Also, he wanted to leave after his team went 1-31 in two seasons. Hard to blame him.

Coleman will be one of the main Bills players to watch tonight in general. The team didn’t give up much to trade for him so he has to earn his way onto the roster. Nothing will be given.

I’m sure there will be hot takes with every Tyrod Taylor throw tonight but as I have said throughout the past year, no one should have any negative feelings toward the man. He helped take this team to the playoffs and was never a distraction or a bad influence in the locker room.
