Are you ready for some Buffalo Bills preseason football?

The team is back on the field tonight and after weeks of guessing, the team has finally named a starting quarterback.

As expected:

Nathan Peterman!

Peterman earned the start but that doesn’t mean he is set to open the season as the starter. But good for him for continue to grind and earning the start tonight.

As you can see some notable names will be out tonight while Ryan Groy earned the start at center.

But all the focus will remain on the quarterbacks and all Bills fans have their own opinions on how the position should play out. To keep the conversation going throughout tonight’s game, be sure to use the comment thread on this post to chat with other Bills fans throughout the game.

We shared our viewer and listener guide earlier today so be sure to check that out if you live outside Buffalo and want to tune in or listen to the preseason opener.

Peterman starting this game gives him a great chance to prove that he is worthy of being the starter. But AJ McCarron also figures to get some work with the first-team offense. As for Josh Allen, let’s hope he lights it up with the third-team. It’s better than the alternative.

The key in the first preseason game is not to overreact or overanalyze. This is a dress rehearsal for everyone involved. That being said, feel free to share your hot takes in the comments section below. That’s the fun of being a football fan!
