The Buffalo Bills have a lot of wide receivers in camp but there is only room for so many. That and more in today’s Morning Charge.

The Buffalo Bills already had a busy competition at wide receiver before Corey Coleman came to town. Now he throws his name into one of the top position battles to watch over the next month.

Aside from the quarterback battle, the wide receivers are easily next in line as the most intriguing group to follow throughout the preseason. Kelvin Benjamin remains the top guy. After him, Jeremy Kerley and Andre Holmes should have jobs, while Zay Jones and Coleman would be surprise cuts.

The good news is that we will all get to see the competition in action in one day. Only one more day until Bills (preseason) football is back!

Except for Benjamin, all the receivers should get their fair share of playing time to prove they belong on the roster in 2018. Only one more day.

As we continue to wait for Bills football to return, we take a look at the receivers and more in today’s edition of The Morning Charge.

Predicting the roster locks and cuts at wide receiver (BuffaLowDown, Daniel Hahn)

Hahn went through all the receivers on the roster to offer up his take on who is a lock to make the team and who may already he headed toward unemployment. Most teams have at least a few sure options at receiver, but after Benjamin this is truly a wide open competition.

While the competition rages at receiver, some players may be on the trading block. Shaq Lawson is one of those players as he doesn’t even factor into the starting lineup on defense as of right now.

Corey Coleman: I’ve got something to prove (PFT, Josh Alper)

Some inspiring words from Corey Coleman after the Browns gave up on him after two seasons. He is still young and has the raw ability to be a solid receiver in the NFL. Let’s hope that happens while he is a member of the Bills.
