The Buffalo Bills are on national television one time this preseason and it comes in a game with plenty of storylines for fans to follow.

Today’s edition of The Morning Charge comes a bit closer to the afternoon as I am in the Outer Banks and finding time to write early in the morning has become difficult.

Alas, we are singing the same tune as the Buffalo Bills don’t have much going on outside some updates on the latest with the allegations against LeSean McCoy.

One thing to look forward to right now is the preseason, which begins August 9 against the Carolina Panthers. But the top storyline of the preseason is the Week 2 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. That is, Tyrod Taylor and the Cleveland Browns.

The game is in Cleveland on a Friday night and will be on national television on NFL Network. It will put the Bills and the Browns in the spotlight, which is rather rare, and will feature more than just Taylor taking on his old team.

The main reason this game is on NFL Network is because of the two young quarterbacks. This will be all about Josh Allen vs. Baker Mayfield. It may be easy for Bills and Browns fans to forget about the heavy investments made in these rookie quarterbacks, but they are both poised to be the future of their respective franchises.

The game is one month from today so let’s take a look at some of the other storylines surrounding the Bills in today’s edition of The Morning Charge.

A look at one of my favorite topics. Buying a jersey is always a risk and there is nothing more amusing than seeing all the names on the backs of fans during Bills games.
