It has been a big draft season for Buffalo sports and the most recent top pick to come to town is showing off his Buffalo Bills pride early.

Earlier today I wrote how Buffalo Bills rookie Josh Allen showed off his Buffalo pride by welcoming Rasmus Dahlin to town.

It is not the most important thing for a player to come to Buffalo and rep the city immediately, but it certainly doesn’t hurt. That’s especially true when it’s someone who is supposed to be the next franchise quarterback.

Well the Buffalo pride continued, this time from Dahlin:

So there you have it, Allen and Dahlin have not even played in a single game for their respective teams but they already have the “gets us” factor.

Both individuals are in unique situations and have the ability to become legends in Buffalo. Both are looking to bring their respective teams back to the glory days, and were invested in heavily by the Pegulas.

It will take more than one season to judge both players, but this is still the honeymoon stage for fans. It is fun to speculate on what could be and what great things can happen in Buffalo with both in town.

Allen may have the better shot to shine right away being a quarterback. If he can make this Bills team a perennial playoff team once again, statues will be built of the young man. The same goes for Dahlin if he stars on some championship teams down the road.

Next: The proper expectations for AJ McCarron

It is a time for hype and excitement and nothing gets fans riled up quite like seeing these young stars repping the city of Buffalo. It will soon be time for the hype to translate to results, but for now everyone can still get excited about pictures and tweets from these rookies.
