Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy has continually played at an elite level and was once again recognized by his former players.

It was only a matter of time before Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy showed up on this year’s NFL Top 100 list.

Micah Hyde already came in at No. 62, but the absence of McCoy up until this point seemed to point toward another high ranking. That, or a total snub that would only serve to rile up Bills Mafia.

Alas, there was no snub and we found out his place on the list earlier tonight:

This No. 30 ranking comes after McCoy appeared at the No. 27 spot in 2017.

This list is casually voted on by the players, as was explained by Andrew Hawkins and Joe Thomas in an episode of The ThomaHawk Show, so it is not a clear picture of the best players in the league. But what it does show Bills fans is that McCoy is still very respected by his peers, and that is because of his abilities.

Barring some sort of voting miracle, or conspiracy, this will mark the last Bills player to make this year’s list. But even having two this year is a pleasant surprise when McCoy seemed like the only sure thing when the countdown began.

McCoy once again enters a season as the focal point of the offense, but he will at least have some help in the backfield this year with the addition of Chris Ivory. Yet even if the quarterbacks and wide receivers exceed expectations, the fate of the seasons lies upon McCoy’s shoulders.

No pressure!

With all the offseason lists snubbing Bills players it is nice to see NFL players recognizing Shady’s greatness as he continues to be a focal point of a team’s offense even as he approaches his 30th birthday.
