My Predictions

Vladimir Ducasse: Starting at right guard

His veteran presence will help him repeat as the starter at right guard. He will help groom the young guys while bringing stability to an offensive line that desperately needs it.

Ryan Groy: Starting at center

Groy becomes the successor to Eric Wood. As I stated earlier, this regime likes Groy’s potential. He was always in Wood’s ear during practice and now gets a chance to show what he has.

John Miller: Starting at left guard

Miller reclaims his status as a starter. Going to bench during the 2017 season helped him hone in on his craft and up his playing ability. In the last year of his rookie deal, he wants to show the NFL and the Buffalo Bills that he is worth a big second contract.

Wyatt Teller: A year away from starting/Late season starter

The future is bright for Teller. Letting him learn from the sideline will help his development and build up his confidence weekly. I hope he will transition to a starting role in year two.

Bonus- Russell Bodine: Backup interior lineman

Yes, I believe Groy beats out the veteran, Russell Bodine. Bodine was horrendous during his time in Cincinnati and I don’t think he resurrects his career in Buffalo. He is on a short deal, so he can easily be replaced or cut.
