2017

We start with the 2017 Bills after the group got the franchise to the postseason for the first time since the 1999 season.

The final record was 9-7 and thanks to some clutch play from Andy Dalton, the Bills squared off with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Wild Card round. The Jaguars did end up winning 10-3, but it was hard to be too upset.

This Bills team was an underdog throughout the year and battled through some tough opponents and a quarterback change in the middle of the season. Tyrod Taylor could have easily reacted poorly to being benched in favor of Nathan Peterman. Instead, he returned to action like nothing happened and helped get his team to the postseason.

Fans are hoping this 2017 team will be looked back upon as the group that started a string of success in Buffalo. The Bills may be a few years away from being Super Bowl contenders, but some great quarterback play could change that.

This season will also be remembered for being the first season in which Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane worked together. Beane wasn’t in charge of the draft, coming on right after the event concluded, but he did make some moves throughout the year that helped shakeup the roster.

Losing in the first round of the postseason is nothing to go crazy about, but this team will be remembered as the group that broke the drought and got Bills fans excited about playoff football once again.
