Brad “The Bruiser” Eichkorn and Alex Jones talk Buffalo Bills football as the rookies are through minicamp. They talk rookie and roster evaluations.

The NFL Draft has come and gone, along with rookie minicamp. Now there are stories of former players (cough, Richie Incognito) getting into trouble, and speculation on who starts at quarterback in week 1.

It’s been about a month since the the Bills traded up to No. 7 overall to draft former Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen. Although he’s been lauded for his physical abilities and arm strength, like many, I feel this rookie will be a project.

So, the Buffalo Bills stand in May with two new quarterbacks on the roster (the other being AJ McCarron), along with a new offensive coordinator in Brian Daboll. Will the start of the season feel like another down year, or could this be a surprising season (like last year) with a trip to the playoffs?

As it stands right now, there’s a long of lingering questions facing this Bills roster, and it’s not just under center. With the unexpected retirement of Eric Wood and the release of guard Richie Incognito, there is plenty of concern on the offensive line.

What can we expect at wide receiver? Will rookie linebacker Tremaine Edmunds successfully fill the void left by the departure of Preston Brown? Yes, those are some tough questions facing the Bills continuing into the offseason.

However, I’m going to follow the words of Buffalo Bills head coach, Sean McDermott, and “trust the process.”

The fact is there is still a long way to go between now and the game in Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens. Can the Bills coaching staff bring out the best in their players this summer? What players still on the free agent market would fit the Buffalo Bills? We discuss those questions and more on this week’s podcast.
