Buffalo Bills: The ideal haul in the 2018 NFL Draft
Round 7
240. Ike Boettger/Tackle/Iowa
Boettger is a very versatile offensive lineman that has experience playing tackle and guard. He has seen time at left tackle and left guard, but also has seen time at right tackle. During his 2016 season he played all three of those positions and was named an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention by coaches.
The biggest issue with Boettger is his injury history. He missed time in 2015, 2016 and 2017 due to various injuries. If he could stay on the field, his 6-foot-6 frame would be a nice fit at tackle or guard and add depth to the position.
I see Boettger as a backup long-term, but his ability to play two different positions will make him more appealing. This coaching staff puts versatility high on the list of things that they look for in a player. Being able to play multiple positions makes Boettger much more appealing and he has played a good amount of time at guard and tackle.
Adding another offensive lineman should be something the Bills definitely take a look at. Incognito and Wood put holes at the two strongest positions on the offensive line for the Bills, and they are still in search of upgrades on the right side of the line.

While Boettger may not be a starter, adding depth and talent to the position certainly cannot hurt, especially this late in the draft.
