The Buffalo Bills have some decisions to make in April that could alter the future of the franchise, either positively or negatively.

February was all about reflection on what was a great season for the Buffalo Bills.

Then came March when all the focus was on free agency and who the team would bring to Buffalo. Draft talk filtered itself into focus as well, but things will really start heating up in April.

April is going to be all about the draft, and some Bills fans may see so many different opinions that they simply want the event to be over so they can actually talk about players who are officially on the team.

The main focus all month will be on the quarterback position. The Bills are going to bring in more than just a quarterback in the draft, but it is about time the team makes an investment in a top QB.

That means trading up and taking the guy they want, or perhaps whoever the Browns and Jets decide not to take. This is a top theory among fans and will remain one until draft day, no matter what Brandon Beane may say to try to kill the narrative.

The draft is important for every NFL team every year, but it is crazy to think that in one month from now the Bills could have the quarterback of the future on the roster. That is a lofty claim to make right after drafting a player. However, optimism is high in Buffalo after last season’s success.

I don’t want to get too excited about the thought of trading up, but it would truly be a surprise if the Bills didn’t do so. Or maybe that is just Twitter groupthink getting to me.

Regardless, this month is an important one for the Bills and we will have a whole lot to talk about when we look back at April.
