Denzel Ward sliding down the draft board would be a surprise. It would be welcomed by the Redskins who just traded away Kendall Fuller. Getting the top corner in the draft outside the top ten is rarely done in today’s league.

Ward would lineup opposite Josh Norman and learn from one of the best in the NFL. He will obviously be tested early, but he has the speed and hitting prowess needed to be successful early. (Justin)

Previous Pick: Derwin James

Iowa. Josh Jackson. 14. player. 49. . Cornerback

Signing Muhammad Wilkerson in free agency took a major need off the board for the Packers in the draft. They could also use a pass-rusher, but Iowa’s Josh Jackson is one of the most talented corners in the draft. His ball skills and recovery speed stand out and Green Bay could use some help in the secondary after trades and free agency have depleted them there. Jackson could be a huge asset to help the Packers defense against the potent offensives and weapons in the NFC North. (Stephen)

Previous Pick: Unchanged

15. player. 32. . Quarterback. Louisville. Lamar Jackson

Jackson landing in the desert would be a huge coup for the Cardinals. This franchise has been accustomed to statue-esque quarterbacks with limited mobility (Palmer, Warner). He will help add some excitement that the team desperately needs.

David Johnson have been asked to do everything offensively. Adding a threat like Jackson to the backfield would help David Johnson continue to be one of the best running back in the league.

He will also get time to learn from Sam Bradford. Bradford should start the year as the guy, but don’t be surprised if Jackson wins the job at some point during the season. (Justin)

Previous Pick: Baker Mayfield
