Buffalo Bills: Keeping an eye on the Zay Jones situation

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Zay Jones was arrested Tuesday night after an unfortunate incident, and we are hoping for the best.

Buffalo Bills fans were treated to some wild news Tuesday night when TMZ released a video of Zay Jones completely naked, seemingly unable to be controlled by his brother, Cayleb Jones.

It was such an odd situation that all fans could do was wait for updates, as the young wide receiver was arrested after the incident.

For now, I think it is best to hold off on any speculation over what caused the incident. Clearly something was going on with the young man and the best thing from all of this is that he didn’t seriously injure himself.

From a football standpoint, the Bills should stay patient and not make any drastic moves. Gather all the information and let the young man explain what happened. It is an insane situation, but I don’t think he should be cast aside because of it.

This does put a wrinkle in the wide receiver situation, but like I said it is too early to shun Jones. He needs a chance to share his story. Unfortunately, the fact this was caught on video makes the situation much worse.

I have seen people send their well wishes to Jones on social media and I have also seen the opposite. If you’re thinking of tweeting something negative at Jones, just don’t. What’s the point?

We will hopefully learn more soon, but for now I think everyone should just hold off on wild speculation. This is a young man who has a lot to figure out, and certainly doesn’t need any unnecessary negativity sent his way.
