Buffalo Bills Draft Profiles: Five First-Round Quarterback Candidates

Now that the Bills hired Brian Daboll to be the point man running the show on the offensive side of things the next logical step for him would be to figure out if Tyrod Taylor is able to be a franchise quarterback. Based on that playoff game in Jacksonville, he probably won’t have many guys banging on the table to keep him under center.

It’s a pretty good year to be on the hunt for a new signal-caller. With many quality quarterbacks hitting the free agent market, this is one avenue the Bills could go into to get their future quarterback. Or the team could even opt to explore the trade route. Either way, the Bills need to address the position.

The other option, however, is the draft.

The quarterback position is this year’s draft is being touted as one of the deeper classes as of late and the Bills have positioned themselves well to take advantage of this. With five picks in the first three rounds, Buffalo has the ammunition needed to land a potential franchise quarterback in this draft.
