4) Run Defense In The Second Half
The run defense in the first half was great; the Bills held the Patriots to just 64-yards rushing on 14 carries. But in the second half things seemed to slip away from the Bills front seven.
The Bills gave up 129-yards rushing in the second half on 28 carries. That’s 5.4 yards per-run for the half. It doesn’t help either that both Patriot running backs Dion Lewis and former Bills running back Mike Gillislee found the end zone.
