5 Reasons why the Buffalo Bills lost to the Los Angeles Chargers
2) Nathan Peterman
Let’s face it, Peterman’s first start was an all-out disaster. It started off well, the rookie quarterback connected on a couple of passes early on in the game. Including a great throw over the middle of the field to Benjamin that gained 20-yards. But it was all downhill from there.
The first interception wasn’t Peterman’s fault, having his rollout pass go right off the hands of fullback Patrick DiMarco and into the hands of Chargers linebacker Korey Toomer, as he took it to the house for 59-yards. But interceptions two, three, four and five were all questionable decisions by the young quarterback.
Whether it was throwing the ball while getting crushed by Joey Bosa, throwing a ball too high or behind the receiver, they all ended up having the same result. A turnover.
