5 Reasons why the Buffalo Bills lost to the Los Angeles Chargers
3) Defense
I know playing on a short field, and short rest isn’t an easy task for defensive players. But where was the defense? Philip Rivers looked like his old self, going 20/32 for 251-yards and 2 touchdowns.
Keenan Allen hauled in 12 catches on 13 targets for 159 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. On the ground, it wasn’t any better as Melvin Gordon had 20 carries for 80-yards and 1 touchdown and rookie running back Austin Ekeler had 6 carries for 40-yards and also managed to find the end zone.
Over the last three games, the Bills have given up 138 points. The defense needs to be called into question after three consecutive blow outs, and Leslie Frazier should be concerned for his job safety.
