5 Reasons why the Buffalo Bills beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

1) Deonte Thompson

Thompson was signed off waivers on Tuesday after being released by the Chicago Bears last Wednesday. After the signing, this would make Thompson the Bills sixth receiver, the signing was vital due to Jordan Matthews being questionable with his thumb.

Well Thompson stepped up big time, raking in four catches for 107 receiving yards including the games longest play. A 59-yard catch from quarterback Tyrod Taylor on the first play after the Buccaneers took a 27-20 lead with 3:14 left in the fourth quarter.

Thompson also had big receptions of 23 and 27-yards on the day, he also is the second Bills receiver to post over 100 receiving yards this season since tight-end Charles Clay did it in week four against Atlanta. This game was just Thompson’s second 100-yard outing of his 42 career games.
