Injuries

The Bills entered Sunday as one of the NFL’s healthiest teams, with only defensive lineman Jerel Worthy ruled out of the game with a concussion and also two other players on injured reserve. But that wasn’t the case as Sunday’s game got underway.

Buffalo Bills’ defensive tackle Marcell Dareus suffered an ankle injury in the first half but did return to the game. Whereas left tackle Cordy Glenn was also sidelined when he suffered an ankle injury in the first half, but he did not return to the game.

The timing of these injuries seemed to be crucial looking back at the game, Cam Newton and the Panthers controlled the first half, having the ball for 23:47 compared to Buffalo’s 6:53. The Bills only picked up one first down in the entire first half.
